KWT® Channel Penstock (Pull up weir or Undershot Sluice Gate) model KOAS I and KOAS II

Application

The KWT Channel Penstocks / Sluice Gates have a wide scope of deployment and are being specified for surface water, process water and sewer applications.
The KWT Channel Penstock is available in a single spindle version (KOAS I) and in a double spindle version (KOAS II) whereby the latter applies to penstocks wider than 1500 mm.

A Channel Penstock can be either overshot (water flows over the gate) or undershot (water flows underneath the gate). The KOAS undershot gate closes off a channel in one swift move. The KOS overshot gate has been designed to accurately control the flow of water.
